16th century Venetian Triumvirate: Titian, Veronese, and Tintoretto were master painters and artists who treasured females and created a small number of nude portraits each during the Venetian Renaissance period. Titian was an Italian artist of international reputation. Like his mentor, Giorgione, put time and talent in creating a mysterious and influential painting, â€Å"Pastoral Concert, c. 1508-1510. Many of the female nude portraits may have created a supernatural female to add interest, once the background subject(s) were sketched. These master artists painted from a ‘live’ nude posed, as well as free hand, facing towards the male subjects in the composition, but not actively in conversation, or off to the side distanced in some form of entertainment. Drama was an essential element of Venetian artists universally and each of the master artists honored Venetian art as an unidentifiable history and independent unity across the painted canvas. A divine, provocative Venetian artist who is known as a â€Å"Prestezza style painter† is Tintoretto with his own style of painting rapidly with just a minor set of brush strokes to create the outline of a human form, and known as an art of improvisation. A genteel courtesan was considered to the ‘ideal’ embodiment of the Renaissance ideal, of sensuality and new form of consciousness. The women were significant, achieving a social lifestyle and intellectual dominance and became notorious and well-known across Europe. During this time, the sensualist female became the painter’s studio, for example Titian’s nudes were courtesans. â€Å"A false mole painted by the nose indicated insatiability, and in the cleft meant adventurist.† Drama was an essential element of
